Interest Groups

The Art Group attends special art events in Ithaca and its environs on the second Thursday of the month, unless otherwise arranged. Contact Lenore Bandler or Nancy McGinnis.
The Book Group meets on the second Monday of the month. The reading list includes books about women, particularly ones that explore their situations in many places and cultures.
The Theatre Group attends performances at The Kitchen Theatre. Contact Alene Wyatt at 257-1894.
The Educational Equity Committee is seeking more members who are interested in the next generation. More local activity could occur with more participation. Recent efforts have included organizing the sister2sister events and involvement in the local Expanding Your Horizons event at Cornell and National Girls and Women in Sports Day at Ithaca College. Suggestions of other roles to play in the community are always welcome as are volunteers for these and other ventures (public speakers about related topics and a mentoring program are two possibilities).
